Stevie Wilson graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Human Relations. Ms. Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oklahoma as well as an approved LPC Supervisor. Ms. Wilson is a member of the Oklahoma Counseling Association, Oklahoma Association for Infant Mental Health and Association for Play Therapy. Ms. Wilson has had the opportunity to work with children and families for the past ten years. Ms. Wilson’s professional training background includes: graduate of the Trust-Based Relational Intervention model by Drs. Karyn Purvis and David Cross of Texas Christian University, Gottman Method for couples therapy, extensive training in the Parent-Child Relationship Therapy by Dr. Gary Landreth of the University of North Texas,  Play Therapy training by Dr. Eliana Gil, Music and Movement training by Music Together, graduate of the Child-Parent Psychotherapy program through the Child Trauma Institute in San Francisco and three years of Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics training by Dr. Bruce D. Perry of the Child Trauma Academy in Houston, Texas. Ms. Wilson is a child advocate and an alumni of the Kids Count advocacy program through the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy. In addition to therapeutic work, Ms. Wilson enjoys teaching Psychology courses at Mid-America Christian University. Ms. Wilson works with individuals, families and children and will be glad to consult with you by phone regarding your therapeutic needs.
